FAQ
What are the benefits of taking private classes?
Private classes offer personalized instruction tailored to your goals, skill level, and learning pace. You’ll receive focused feedback, faster progress, flexible scheduling, and a comfortable one-on-one environment that builds confidence and sharpens technique efficiently.
Do I get to choose the style of dance / music?
Yes! Private classes are great for clients with a specific goal in mind. Whether you’re looking for specific instruction in Tango or want to learn brand-new choreography to your favorite song, RMH Dance is prepared to tailor each lesson to your needs.
How fast will i learn?
Progress in private classes varies by individual, but with focused one-on-one instruction, most students learn faster and see noticeable improvement in a shorter amount of time.
What should i bring / wear to class?
Clients should arrive in basic fitness attire that is comfortable and easy to move in. Please wear appropriate shoes designed for dancing or athletic activity. We understand that some clients may have specific attire or shoes they’d like to practice in; however, for the first appointment, we ask that clients follow the recommended clothing guidelines. From there, RMH Dance instructors will advise on any additional or specialized attire needed for future lessons.
What should I expect from my first class?
New clients have nothing to fear—RMH Dance is a welcoming space with instructors experienced in teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. First-time classes typically begin with a conversation about goals and dance experience, followed by clear, easy-to-follow instruction.
How Often Should I take Private classes
The amount and frequency of private classes vary for each individual. How often you take lessons depends on your personal goals and needs. Clients are encouraged to discuss recommended class frequency and lesson plans with their instructor to best support their progress and goals.
