From the top, we have our Dance Captain, Ms. Traci Bunn! Ms. Traci first stepped into the spotlight at just three years old and began competing in Tap and Jazz by age five. Over the years, she expanded her training to include multiple styles, discovering Hip Hop and Contemporary in high school before finding her true calling in teaching during college. With nearly 20 years of experience instructing and choreographing for studios, dance teams, companies, and special events, she brings both passion and expertise to every class she leads and plays a vital role in developing choreography for our After-School Dance Programs. Her Hip Hop classes create a fun, high-energy environment that’s perfect for both adults and teens who are new to the style. Dancers can expect to learn fresh choreography while building strong foundational skills in a supportive and encouraging space. For Adult Tap, this class is ideal for those returning to tap after time away—or anyone ready to try something completely new! Ms. Traci focuses on simple, clear steps that gradually build coordination, rhythm, and confidence. And last but certainly not least, Ms. Traci has designed a brand-new class specifically for our senior community. Golden Grooves is a low-impact, high-energy dance class where older adults can move, groove, and learn fun choreography set to today’s hits. It’s all about staying active, building confidence, and shining on the dance floor—especially when it’s time to show off those moves with the grandkids.
Next, we’re excited to highlight one of our ballet instructors, Ms. Addison Amador. Ms. Addison has been dancing for most of her life, beginning her training at just eight years old under the guidance of Rudy and Maria. Throughout high school, she immersed herself in musical theatre and ballet, further developing her artistry and stage presence. She is now continuing her journey as she works toward earning her bachelor’s degree in dance. Ms. Addison will be leading our Children’s Ballet class, a magical introduction to the world of ballet. In her nurturing and imaginative classroom, young dancers will learn foundational positions and graceful technique while building confidence in their movement. It has been a joy to watch Ms. Addison grow and shine as a dedicated member of the RMH Dance family for so many years, and we’re thrilled to see her step into this role.
Our second ballet instructor, the talented Ms. Mia Perry, has been dancing since childhood, training in ballet, jazz, and tap. Over the years, she has performed in school musicals and various dance productions, yet ballet has always remained her true passion. And if you think you’re too old to try ballet, think again! Ms. Mia’s Ballet class offers a welcoming, beginner-friendly introduction designed especially for teens and adults. Dancers will build strong foundational technique, learn proper positioning, and improve coordination—all while gaining confidence in their movement. Her mission is to open the doors of ballet to all, creating an inclusive space where every dancer feels welcomed, capable, and inspired.
Lastly, we’re proud to introduce our Adult Yoga Instructor, Ms. Mavia Apodoca. Ms. Mavia has trained with RMH Dance since she was young and brings an extensive dance background, along with experience in color guard throughout her high school career. While she is one of our incredible after-school dance teachers, she also has a deep passion for yoga that she is excited to share with our community. She is currently pursuing her yoga teaching certification while working toward a degree in kinesiology, further deepening her understanding of movement and the body. In her Adult Yoga class, she guides students through beginner-friendly poses and restorative stretches designed to help you de-stress, unwind, and reconnect with yourself. It’s the perfect way to begin your Saturday morning!
To wrap things up, we are incredibly proud to see our talented staff step into new opportunities to showcase their artistry and leadership. At RMH Dance, one of our core goals is to create a space where our creative community can grow, lead, and truly shine. We’re thrilled to introduce these new class offerings and can’t wait to see everyone step onto the floor and try something new!
