Shall we dance? Founded by Rudy and Maria Hernandez, RMH Dance & Productions brings over 25 years of experience in teaching Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Social dance. What began as a shared passion has grown into a dynamic team of dedicated instructors and staff who believe in the positive power of dance to educate, entertain, and excite—making a lasting difference in the lives of our students and community.
Our studio offers a comprehensive range of exciting private or group dance programs for all skill levels as well as dance parties, showcases, and special events.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reflect our philosophy — To Educate, Entertain, and Excite individuals of all ages to dance. At RMH Dance, we are dedicated to sharing our passion for movement, creativity, and self-expression with our community and beyond. We strive to create a welcoming and inspiring environment where dancers can grow in skill, confidence, and love for the art of dance.
Educating
In addition to offering high-quality studio classes, we are proud to partner with several local school districts to provide accessible after-school dance programs. Our staff travel to schools and educate students in the fundamentals of dance, entertain through engaging and creative movement, and excite them to discover the joy of dancing.
Entertaining
RMH Dance is also a full-service entertainment and production company. Beyond the dance floor, we proudly provide DJ/MC services, sound production, and event coordination for both private clients and local community gatherings. From supporting events like the Whittier Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Wake Up Whittier to bringing energy and life to weddings, celebrations, and special occasions, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences through quality sound and thoughtful production.
Exciting
We believe in supporting and uplifting the local dance and creative community, which is why RMH Dance actively encourages emerging talent to join our team. One of our goals is to spotlight the incredible artists on our staff by giving them opportunities to lead their own classes and share their unique styles.
In addition, RMH Dance offers floor rental space for independent dance teachers and artists. Our studio serves as a welcoming, professional environment for hosting classes & rehearsals — fostering collaboration, growth, and accessibility within the dance community.
